Thyroid Panel – Canine Comprehensive

The Canine Comprehensive Thyroid Panel is an advanced diagnostic tool that includes measurements of T3, T4, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free T4 by equilibrium dialysis (FT4-ED), and thyroglobulin autoantibodies (TgAA). This extensive panel provides a detailed evaluation of thyroid function, helping to diagnose hypothyroidism in dogs, especially in cases with ambiguous T4 levels or inconclusive basic thyroid panel results. The inclusion of TgAA allows for the detection of autoimmune thyroiditis, a common underlying cause of hypothyroidism in dogs.
