Hemophilia Small Animal Panel

The Hemophilia Panel for small animals is a comprehensive diagnostic test designed to evaluate coagulation function and identify specific clotting disorders, including hemophilia A and B, in veterinary patients. This panel measures activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), prothrombin time (PT), thrombin clotting time (TCT), and specific clotting factors such as Factor VIII, Factor IX and von Willebrand factor antigen (vWF). These tests provide critical insights into bleeding disorders, particularly in breeds predisposed to hemophilia or von Willebrand disease.
