Cytology- Bone Marrow Evaluation by DACVP
The Cytology – Bone Marrow test involves the microscopic evaluation of cellular material obtained through fine-needle aspiration or impression smears, which will be evaluated by a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
All of the following: bone marrow in EDTA, 1 mL peripheral blood in EDTA, air-dried slides or Good quality Stained Slides

Submission of 2-6 slides (air dried or Good quality stained slides) is typically sufficient for cytologic evaluation.
Label each sample with the animal’s name and a unique identifier, using a permanent marker or a secure adhesive label.
Ensure the submittal form is completed with the animal’s information and relevant medical history.
